Mason City man nabbed for 3rd OWI

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was nabbed last weekend for his 3rd operating while intoxicated (OWI) offense.

Jose Maria Hernandez-Pazcual, 46, showing a Mason City address was pulled over for an equipment violation on Saturday at 4:01 AM in the 500 block of North Massachusetts Avenue in Mason City.

Hernandez-Pazcual was also charged with having no driver’s license and open container. An immigration hold was placed on him as well.

Hernandez-Pazcual is still being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail as of Wednesday morning.
