(Mason City) – The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health is excited to announce another LIVE Community Conversation with Fitness Wright Now partners, Daniel Wright and Rebecca Meyer former contestants of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at East Park Shelter 3. This month’s Community Conversation will be “Beliefs Fuel Actions.” The conversations are part of a year-long series sponsored by the Health Department to allow residents the opportunity to ask questions and learn from individuals who have lived through the struggles of weight management and health problems and overcame the obstacles to lead healthier lives.
Wright and Meyer will also be hosting a group fitness class before the LIVE Community Conversations from 5:30 – 6:30 PM at East Park Shelter 3. The pair will lead participants through a fitness class requiring the use of outdoor amenities to complete a total body workout.
The fitness class is designed to educate participants on the ease and affordability of exercising without gym memberships or expensive equipment. The fee to participate in the class is $15 or $10 if you bring two friends. Participants can pay at the beginning of the class. To pre-register for the class, visit www.fitnesswrightnow.com.

I seen a picture promoting this there were 4 overweight people 2 which were on the biggest loser looks too me they gained the weight back,what a freakin joke and they want people too pay for that.
C.G. County Public Health Nurse violated the HIPPA laws. They need to be investigated ASAP!
Why would you think they violated any HIPPA Laws by offering a pay for event. The people who put it on are paid for their efforts. The Health Department is doing a good thing by trying to show people how to lose weight which is healthy and that is what they are supposed to do. Do you have a different agenda or are you just trying to stir up crap. Always has to be someone trying something for themselves. I also am a taxpayer and you certainly don’t speak for me.
