MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo County Supervisors heard an economic development plan from North Iowa Corridor Director Brent Willett today at their regular meeting.
Willett said regular government incentives are not enough to lure new business in today’s climate; they are expected. He said a community must leverage its advantages in order to compete. “It’s a business decision, in the end,” he said.

Also, sealed bids were revealed for a 250th Street project. All the bids were below the estimate of about $305,000.

I would like to hear young Mr Willets presentation to the CC Board of Supervisors, but I am still trying to figure out just “what” he said during his presentation to the Mason City council on tuesday night?????
