A Winter Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, February 4 from 1-4 p.m. at the Lime Creek Nature Center.
Beat the winter blahs with an adventure-packed afternoon at Lime Creek! Scheduled activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoe hikes, winter scavenger hunt, survival activity, crafts, woodcarving demonstration, snow snake throwing, and marshmallow/hot dog roasting over a campfire.
A limited number of skis will be available for participants that do not have their own equipment and instruction will be provided for beginners.
This event is free for Lime Creek Nature Center members and $3.00 for non-members over 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required – call 423-5309 to register or for more information.
