Shortly before 3:30am Sunday, December 11th, a Plymouth woman called the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department to report hitting a deer with her vehicle.
After taking the report and a short investigation sheriff’s deputies arrested 29 year old Stefanie Schmid at her residence. Schmid was then transported to the Cerro Gordo County jail on one count of 1st offense OWI.
Schmid was released later Sunday pending further court proceedings.

Larry, I disagree. The right thing to do would have been to NOT drink and drive in the first place.
Larry, she was intoxicated?? she should be arrested….I wonder if this will make the world’s dumbest criminals show?
