MASON CITY – Mariah Ohl was denied her job as a Mason City police officer today on a 3-0 vote from the Civil Service Commission.

Ohl was fired on August 4th by Police Chief Michael Lashbrook, and Ohl appealed that to the Mason City Civil Service Commission.

Ohl testified today and was often emotional as she described pulling over the wives of other police officers and then feeling mistreated in her job after that.
