Convicted Mason City meth dealer allegedly lacerates neighbor’s face

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was jailed after an altercation with his neighbor.

Mason City police say that on July 26, at about 1:31 AM, an assault was reported at 919 North Federal Avenue. Officers arrived and investigated. Allegedly, 31-year-old Brandon Sullivan assaulted his neighbor, leaving the neighbor with a laceration on his face. Police say no weapons appear to have been involved.

Sullivan was arrested on a charge of Willful Injury, a Class C Felony. He’s being held on $10,000 cash or surety bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing on August 5.

In 2013, Sullivan was arrested by MCPD for possession of meth with intent to deliver. He was eventually sent to the Beje Clark halfway house as some kind of punishment or rehabilitation.
