MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo county supervisors have approved a revitalization plan for the Portland area, southeast of Mason City.
The board voted 3-0 to approve the plan.

To encourage redevelopment and improvement of the property that is already there which in turn will increase the tax base. This is the same thing Mason City did.
