NIT – We’ve received a number of pleas from readers to “investigate” or “look into” this recent phenomenon known as “Operation Jade Helm 15”.
Clicking through the various conspiracy theory web sites tucked into the armpits of the internet, you will find blowhards declaring that this supposed military training exercise is actually disguising some kind of United Nations takeover of Texas and possibly Utah (two red states) and is covertly being led by President Barack Obama (the anti-Christ, some of the end-of-the-worlders say).
The exercise, the doomsayers say, has something to do with closed-up Wal-Marts and the imposition of martial law.
The conspiracy theories have gotten to some; even Texas Governor Greg Abbott put his state guard on alert to watch U.S. special operations forces during Jade Helm 15, beginning July 15.
What say you? What is Jade Helm 15, is it legitimate, or is there a real threat?
When is the takeover going to start? I have been waiting 3 weeks now and Texas is still part of the US. And there have been no incidents that can be attributed to Jade Helm. What is going on?
Keep looking then, the exercise doesn’t start till july but keep looking.

reports have said that some of the troops have already started moving into texas but after all the rains they are probably in the gulf by now.

In the wake of the “Jade Helm” controversy & regardless of the stupidity exhibited by Texas Republicans & some here on NIT and fueled by ignorance, Obama is committed to making sure the people of Texas in need of flood relief will be taken care of.

I’m not freaking out at all, I’ve done many exercises in the military and personally I think they are blowing everything out of proportion. The only bandwagon that I am on is that the economy is going to collapse, when nobody knows but it will collapse and only a fool cannot see it. Everything else, there is always an explanation.
I see that the “we want to secede” Texans still want the government’s help with the terrible flooding they have been experiencing. Help bail us out then we will secede.
Why shouldn’t they? They pay their taxes and are entitle to service for it. At least there have not been any riots or business burned down.

Obama then plans to work with the army of Mexico, mercenaries from South America and Russian conscripts to make a push through the Gulf of Mexico.
With a beachhead set in Texas, Obama can then push out and start a Western invasion of tech-rich California.

Did anybody realize that a small part of the jade helm exercise dealing with the detonation of a dirty bomb is going on right here in iowa? When I heard this I contacted a friend at Camp Dodge and they confirmed it even told me which units were involved. I am not sure if jade helm is a government takeover but I do know that when we did exercises we tried to minimize our contact with civilians.

Why is training unnecessary? It could be called practice and we all need that.
Think of it like this. Training conditions the body and mind on what to do, if you do it long enough and you have to react your body and mind will revert back to training. The troops that are doing the training for JADE HELM are learning and when it comes to do this for real they will know what to do and what the military is going to do so when they leave the military instead of following an illegal order they will take with them all the training too.
Training for what? America should never be dependent on any other country to defend us. Besides, do you really believe any other country is going to come over here and protect us? Really?
UN troops need to train in the County’s that will need the protection. America should never need them.
The last thing anyone needs is to become dependent. I hope you realize that is what the Democrat/Socialist Party is doing, fostering dependency.

I am not condoning the training at all. I know our military needs training but the official version is they are training for civil unrest. Training for civil unrest in our own country can only lead to training for martial law which would not be good.
I think it just shows how little the people think of the government and Obama in particular. Personally, I don’t think this will happen. I just can’t see American soldiers invading a state. I could be wrong and if I am I think you will see one hell of a civil war. I don’t think Obama has the support to pull off something like that even if he wanted to (and I don’t think that is his plan).
