A new poll says that the number who favor the Republican party is at an all-time low.
According to Gallup, the Republican Party is now viewed favorably by 28% of Americans, down from 38% in September. This is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992.
The poll is part of an on-going measurement analyzing how the government shutdown and the debate over raising the debt ceiling are affecting Americans’ views of government, government leaders, political parties, the economy, and the country in general.
The Democratic Party also has a “public image problem” according to Gallup. “Although not on the same elephantine scale as that of the Republican Party — with 43% viewing the Democratic Party favorably, down four percentage points from last month.”
The poll was conducted October 3-6.
Both parties suck. This so called two party system is not in the constitution. The Democrats are just as bad. Act like they are for the working people but take their money to give it to lazy people to buy their vote. calling Obamacare the “law of the land.” Well Our immigration laws,our narcotic laws and the defense of marriage act are also the “law of the land”.

The Democrats have as much “big Money” in their pockets as the Republicans. If you do not believe this you are a total fool.
That’s what I’m talking about. Most everyone I talk to is equally sick of both parties so where are these poll numbers coming from? Are they fake?
I never get called for these polls. Maybe at election time I get a few. But right now has anyone on here gotten a call for these polls? Who are they calling?

The Republicans just can not seem to understand that they can not keep threatening the people who need the money that most and then expect them to vote for them. It is very easy to say we are going to shut down the government until we get our way when you are wealthy and do not need your paycheck. They keep threatening people who have no other income and no way to get more income. It just does not work. That is what killed them in the last election and it will kill them again. Of course Obama and Reid are just as much at fault because they refuse to negotiate. Throw them all out and put in people that will work for all of the people.
The republican party needs new leadership. Boehner is so afraid of being “primaried” bye the extreme right that he has continually caved to them. The republican party would do itself a big favor by ridding itself of the tea party. Their ideas are way to extreme for the majority of republicans. I thought Gallup’s numbers, 28%, was pretty high. I would think it would be a lot lower than that.
First of all I do agree that they/both parties need new leadership but secondly the Tea Party is the ONLY party that is looking after the people. Your ignorance is showing through.

The teaparty, as I have stated before, are nothing but American terrorists. They are willing to let the economy of the world potentially collapse because they can’t get their way. maybe why is it you can’t remember the election less than 1 year ago. Your man running on the platform to do away with the ACA lost and lost pretty big. So why should the teabaggers think that they can just piecemeal a budget together and omit the ACA. Everything they have come forward with is just that. Pick and chose government. That’s not how it works. Sen Reid reached an agreement with Boehner on a budget that kept the sequestration in tact and eliminated over 80 billion more dollars from the budget. Not enough for the teabaggers unless you defund the ACA. Ain’t going to happen. No way no how. It is really to bad that you do your fact checking on Fox News and other extreme right web sites. You would be much better off and not sound so terribly stupid if you were to use other sources.

also why is Boehner afraid to put it to a straight yes or no vote. The Democrats are very willing to start the government up again. Just put it to a vote. There are more than enough votes in the House and Senate and the President will sign it. Its just the teabaggers that are holding it back. Try to extort the American people.
