WATERLOO – On Wednesday July 24, 2013 Officers with the Waterloo Police Department’s Violent Crime Apprehension Team (VCAT) conducted a traffic stop in the area of W. 9th St. and E. Mitchell Ave. reference a weapons and drug investigation. During the traffic stop Officers took twenty-seven-year-old Demetrice De’Angelo Tompkins of Waterloo and twenty-two-year-old Adriana Shereen Hanson of Waterloo into custody. A three-year-old child was also located inside the vehicle.
During the traffic stop Officers seized a quantity of marijuana, prescription drugs, money, and other items used in the sale and distribution of drugs. Officers also seized a stolen .45 caliber semi-auto handgun, a .22 caliber rifle and ammunition. VCAT Officers and Tri-County Drug Investigators also conducted a search warrant at 1107 W. Mullan Ave. in Waterloo.
Tompkins was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug tax stamp violation, possession with intent to deliver a scheduled controlled substance, carrying weapons and child endangerment. Hanson was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug tax stamp violation, possession with intent to deliver a scheduled controlled substance, carrying weapons and Driving While License Suspended. Both suspects were booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.

This image is so strong and dominant in the mind of the human lemming, that EVEN if the green plant material is shown to arrest cancer tumors, the image will prevail.
