MASON CITY – Mason City police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence in the 0 block of 5th Street NW at 4:32 a.m. Sunday morning.
When officers arrived at the scene, they could hear people inside the house and a neighbor reported that the owner was out of town.
Three of the suspects voluntarily came out of the house but two suspects hid inside and were arrested by officers searching the residence.
Arrested, jailed and held for bond in connection with the burglary were:
Paul Gregory Thomspon, 19, of Mason City.
Charged with: 3rd degree burglary (class D felony) and
possession of burglary tools (aggravated misdmeanor)
Sara Jean Ramon, 21, of Mason City.
Charged with: 3rd degree burglary (class D felony)
Michael Jon Frazer, 44, of Rudd.
Charged with: 3rd degree burglary (class D felony)
Christian Peter Jensen, 24, of Mason CIty.
Charged with: 3rd degree burglary (class D felony)
Benjamin Jonathon Dalgliesg, 23, of Mason City.
Charged with: 3rd degree burglary (class D felony)

Those in the real world however understand that such a process starts with a motion from defense counsel, and not the prosecution.

@Bender & @terry: Unfortunately you do have the right to carry a gun; however, that right stops there. Kill someone, and you, too, go to jail. The law doesn’t give the right to kill trespassers or anyone else, and let’s hope that doesn’t change any time soon. Personally, I think the right to carry should never have been turned into law, but that’s just me. Not a fan of guns or the NRA…
Thankfully not everyone thinks like you. The law nicknamed the “Make My Day” law is already in effect in many states and is gaining popularity in others. It recently made national news when a mother with her infant daughter at home shot a man dead when he and his accomplice attempted to break into her house to rob her. She will face no charges and the police were able to apprehend the other man quickly by association to the dead intruder.
I will protect my property and the safety of my family, step through my door with the wrong intention and you will fall to the same fate.
The MCPD’s incident report says the burglary was at 32 6th St NW. There have been other burglaries in that area in the past few months. I hope the police get a warrant to search their places..
mcpd should have just shot all 5 in the house and got it over with. Would have saved us the taxpayers alot of money and time.. And would have got 5 more tweekers off the streets. But now they will drag this on for about a year in the courts and then get probation. But then i will invite them to my house and show them my right to have a gun. Please stop by!!!!

God I am glad I carry, I wish one would break in to my home late at night. There would be no need for a trial, just notify next of kin to come pick up the trash!

Sara Ramon goes from being on the run in Minnesota to avoid an arrest warrant, gets caught, goes to jail, gets out, breaks the law again (go figure), and goes right back to jail. What a moron. I bet her FB page will have some bull about how funny it was. I wonder if another relative will help her hide in MN again.
