NIT – Governor Terry Branstad, along with Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, will be making stops in the North Iowa area this coming week.
On Tuesday at 12:30 PM, Branstad and Reynolds will tour Allan Industrial Coatings in Allison, a multi-faceted industrial coatings company.
Next on Tuesday, at 2:15 PM, Branstad and Reynolds will attend a Floyd county town hall meeting, called “Iowa is Working” at Aromas Coffee, 37 minutes away in Charles City.
At the third stop of the day, at 4:15 PM, Branstad and Reynolds will tour POET Biorefining, 50 minutes away in Hanlontown, which claims to be one of the world’s largest producers of ethanol and other biorefined products.
On the final stop of the day, Branstad and Reynolds will attend the Lake Mills Chamber Development Corporation annual meeting at the Rice Lake Golf and Country Club, 26 minutes away in Lake Mills, the governor’s home town.
On Wednesday at 9 AM, Branstad and Reynolds will visit Algona High School in Algona.
At 10:45 AM, Branstad and Reynolds will hold a Humboldt county town hall meeting, called “Iowa is Working” 30 minutes away at Pasquale’s Pizza in Humboldt.
Finally, at 1 PM, Branstad Reynolds will tour Hagie Manufacturing Company, 20 minutes away in Clarion, which produced the world’s first self-propelled crop sprayer.
