Northland Regional Economic Development Commission: $54, 900 to serve Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, and Grundy counties.
Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission: $54,900 to serve Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, O’Brien, Osceola, Lyon, Palo Alto, and Sioux counties.
No, it is a grant, free money, Obama stash, it didn’t cost the tax payers anything! This is what the recipients of every federal grant feel and think. It is your money folks. Stop taking our money in the first place and make our politicians stop trying to take credit for returning sum of our money to pet projects that we may or may not agree with. The governement doesn’t have any money. It is our money, let us keep it and we can make a choice on what projects need to be funded locally by a vote of the people.
