MASON CITY – Mason City police were flagged down yesterday near the Mason City public pool at about 1:30 PM and “advised of a subject that complainant thought may be watching kids at the pool.”
This report comes just days after another group of citizens reported that “there is a man in his mid 30′s early 40′s that is posing himself as an insurance person, and taking pictures of little kids.”
The public should call the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636 if they witness any suspicious or inappropriate behavior, especially anywhere children may be present.
There is also a red car that was parked at the city park in osage, for over an hour today, watching my son and my friends son play.There was two men inside it. I called the police but by the time they got their the car had just left. about ten minutes later the car drove back by.
By the looks of the photo, those are some good looking chicks.
I sure hope it wasn’t some guy who was waiting for his kid to get done swimming……
DM Register and CR Gazette are reporting the same thing in their towns. People are freaking out all over the state. With good reason, but get a grip people, geeez.

Call 911, then get your cell cameras out, zoom in and take pictures of the guy, his vehicle, and license plate if you think he’s lurking around, stalking, or taking pictures of kids. Stay safe, though. Better to report and be wrong than to be sorry. Just don’t spread rumors about an innocent person!
