At around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, a call to the Clear Lake Fire Department reported a semi-tractor trailor was on its side at the 197 mile marker on Interstate 35. The driver was out of the truck but injured. It was carring hazardous materials
At the scene it was reported, “It is hot asphalt, but doesn’t seem too hazardous, the DNR was called.”
The driver was wearing his seatbelt and was taken to Mercy Medical Hospital by the Mason City Ambulance.
When the tractor lost control it hit a pillar of the overpass bridge causing major damage to the semi.
Along with the Clear Lake Fire Department, the Iowa State Patrol officers were there to assist.
The driver is a lucky man to be able to walk away from that one and live to tell about it.
What part of MSCY isn’t being farmed out?
I went to the Globes site to see what they had. These beat theirs for sure.
Amazing photo! Best photographers in North Iowa!!
Maybe not in the whole North Iowa area, but I agree that they are great photographers and their photos are “Real” unlike the GG who buys most of their photos from stock & other area photographers because their to lazy to go to a scene themselves. I dont know which one but one of the NIT photographers is self taught now THAT is impressive!
Have you seen that the glowb’s “photo of the day” is always from bangldesh or india or tazmania… freaking weird! More proof that it is probably people from that region of the world really running their site and design team. They laid local people off just to farm their ads out to India.
