CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was arrested after a traffic stop.
Police in Charles City conducted a traffic stop at 4:40 PM April 5 near Harwood Street and Hulin Street. After an investigation at the scene, the driver, 42-year-old Gregory Floyd was arrested on charges of first offense operating while intoxicated, no seatbelt, no insurance, faulty windshield and open container of alcohol.
He was released from jail the next day, as he awaits a court date on April 24.
“no seatbelt, no insurance, faulty windshield and open container of alcohol.” He just as well have put a sign on his car saying he’s a dumbass and drunk.
