MASON CITY – Temperatures are dropping in the frigid North Iowa air, and a frosty forecast for more ICE law enforcement activity is on the horizon, triggering panic in seething local lefties and the criminals they aim to protect, while area police band together to offer a unified stance in this unfolding reality.

The well-publicized chaos in Minneapolis caused by luny leftist leaders who refuse to enforce federal law while behaving in a complicit manner to allow billions in fraud is now seeping south. Reports out of Albert Lea, just over the Iowa border, confirm that federal law enforcement (“ICE agents”) are there this week performing their mandate. Demonstrations are taking place as the officers attempt to fulfill their duty.  Albert Lea police wisely reacted and offered sage detail and advice that coherent, law-abiding citizens can easily understand, and should heed:

Despite local leftists expressing outrage at federal law enforcement efforts, Cerro Gordo county (and Iowa itself) is ruby-red, and it is doubtful that their shrill, narcissistic outrage is representative of community sentiment.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a federal law enforcement agency within the Department of Homeland Security. The Albert Lea Police Department does not have authority over federal agencies and does not direct or interfere with their operations. It is also important for the public to understand that obstructing federal law enforcement activity is unlawful.”

The reality of federal law enforcement (what a novel idea) making its way into ruby-red Cerro Gordo county (thousands more registered Republicans here than Democrats – see graphic) has landed here, finally.  This unavoidable consequence for rampant law-breaking has triggered foamy-mouthed leftists to go absolutely bonkers on social media and permanently display their TDS.  Offered below is a prime example, all started with a post by KrisTina Portis.  Records show Portis is a  convicted thief  from Mason City with an extensive history of civil actions brought against her. Portis posted to social media Wednesday afternoon an all-caps emergency-style bulletin that “REAL LIFE ICE IS IN OUR CITY” – referring to Mason City, Iowa.  She used many, many exclamation points to drive home the terror, and to make sure she got lots of attention to her post.  It worked, which led to a long string of feverish reactions.

Original Post by Portis

Minutes later, the responses – littered with all-caps, mis-spellings, poor grammar, mis-information, insults, and tough talk – were rolling in.  Portis had to be reveling in glee and relevance as all the affirmations and attention she desperately craved poured in.  Anyone who disagreed or spoke negatively of her post, or showed support for federal officers, was savagely shamed and attacked by leftist comrades who seem ready to battle officers in any way they are capable.  Examples:

Leftist attack on local man who supports ICE.
Leftist attack on local persons who support ICE – they are “trash” to this woman.

Local auto crasher Tiffany Mussman of Mason City, a staunch despiser of Republicans and a leftist activist/protester, then left a post under Portis’ alert and made it clear she was taking her shrill Karen act straight to our new Chief of Police, Mike McKelvey.  She vowed to “pressure him” and make sure he understands she will not tolerate ICE going about their business in the community:

Moments later, Kristina Portis of Mason City, Iowa, made sure the World understands her boundless hate for federal law enforcement officers:

Perhaps Mussman’s feverish threat to pressure our steadfast Chief of Police worked, because today, Chief McKelvey offered this public announcement – and recognized social media activity as a driver to issue the statement – on federal law enforcement activity in the area:

Mason City Chief of Police Mike McKelvey

Yesterday, the Mason City Police Department began receiving inquiries on whether I.C.E. was in Mason City. No one from I.C.E. had communicated with us prior that they would be in town. Local social media began reporting more and more reports of people being detained and or questioned in Mason City by I.C.E. No local law enforcement agencies (Mason City Police Department, Clear Lake Police Department, Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Department, nor Iowa State Patrol ) were consulted with prior or assisted with any I.C.E. activity in Cerro Gordo County yesterday or today.

We have been able to confirm that 6 people (driving 3 vehicles) claiming to be with I.C.E. stopped at the Cerro Gordo Law Enforcement Center yesterday afternoon at 1:30 pm. They asked the sheriff’s office employees if they had any inmates there with immigration detainers. At that time, no inmates had immigration detainers. This group then left. They stated that they were going to check with other jails also.

They brought no inmates in. They left with no inmates. There are several social media stories about people being detained locally. We have no confirmation of this, nor any contemporaneous missing reports to indicate a mass detainment yesterday or today. We did contact one of the Iowa field offices for I.C.E. yesterday. The I.C.E. employees in Mason City yesterday are not affiliated with the Iowa field office(s) for I.C.E. We have requested the Iowa office bring this to someone’s attention within their national I.C.E. organization as this has caused a lot of local concern, possibly inflamed by unverified social media reports. Because no local law enforcement agencies were consulted, we are unable to confirm anything else that did or did not happen with I.C.E. yesterday in Cerro Gordo County, IA.

We understand the political and legal concerns. The four named local LE agencies in Cerro Gordo County have given me permission to issue this joint-agency release. If you are unsure if someone claiming to be law enforcement is legitimate, you can call local law enforcement to respond and help you investigate further.

  1. You are a tool and a shill. You need a real job. WHy don’t you apply for a job with ICE. You seem like the perfect low intellect individual they want.
