A visitation for Paul Chapman, 67, of Milford will be held on Sunday, December 7th from 5-7 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Ritz in Arnolds Park on Monday, December 8th at 11:00 AM. A private family service will be held at a later time.

Paul Arthur Chapman born on October 31, 1958, in Spencer, Iowa peacefully passed away at Accura Healthcare on November 26, 2025, at the age of 67. A truly great man whose smile and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Born to parents Earl D. “Squeeg” and Ruth Ann Wade Chapman, Paul was raised and educated in Spencer, graduating Spencer High School. Paul enjoyed football and wrestling in his high school days as well as riding his Yamaha motorcycle and snowmobile. He grew up bartending at his parents business Top of the Pine.

Paul was born a salesmen, dedicating nearly 20 years to C&N Sales and later working in food sales and automotive parts, most recently delivering parts at Arnold Motor. He truly loved seeing people and enjoyed every opportunity to visit with others, always making sure they got what they needed. His genuine care and friendly spirit made every interaction memorable.

He loved woodworking, and among his most prized possessions were the toy boxes and wooden caterpillars he lovingly crafted for his grandchildren. These handmade treasurers will be cherished for years to come. Paul spent his summers camping with his kids, creating cherished memories. He also loved taking vacations, especially trips to the Black Hills and, later Florida.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Connie Chapman, son Nick Chapman and girlfriend Jessica of Sioux Falls. Daughter Jennifer Von Ehwegen and her husband Tim of Spencer along with their children Tate, Jetta, Haley and Holly. Connie’s son Nick and his wife Crystal of Florida and their children Alex, Will, Grace, Anna and Olivia.

In addition to his wife and children, Paul is survived by his brothers Dave and his fiancée, Meg of Minneapolis, Sam and his wife Heidi of Spencer. His memory lives on through numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends who will forever hold cherished memories of their time spent with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Daniel Chapman.
