Robert was born on July 21st, 1933 and passed away on November 19th, 2025 at the age of 92

Robert E. Bunn, 92, of Maynard, Iowa, died Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2025, at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette, Iowa.

There will be no funeral services.

Robert Eugene Bunn was born July 21, 1933, at Maynard, the son of Homer and Letha Ora (Prideaux) Bunn. He was baptized at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Maynard. In 1951, he graduated from Maynard High School in Maynard. On July 20, 1952, he was united in marriage to Shirley Anne Jenkins, at Arlington, Iowa. Bob was employed for 30 years at the Chicago Great Western Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Bob is survived by his wife: Shirley Bunn of Maynard; 5 children: Charlotte (Dale) Steen of Oelwein, Barb (John) Stone of Yuma, Arizona, Debbie Jack (Jim Studer) of Mechanicsville, Kristy Shannon (John Scheer) of Kansas City, Missouri and Mark Bunn of Maynard; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother: Don (Ann) Bunn of Maynard; sisters-in-law: Judy Bunn of Maynard and Marj Bunn of Maynard; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons: Robert Michael Bunn at infancy and Michael Bunn on December 4, 2022; son-in-law: Les Jack; 4 brothers: John Bunn, Paul Bunn, David Bunn and Albert Bunn; sister: Mary Kay Diem; and sisters-in-law: Janet Bunn and Loyce Bunn.
