Deborah Kay Frampton, 72, of Clear Lake, Iowa, was set free from dementia and all earthly pain on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Manly Specialty Care Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2025 at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, Iowa.
Deb was born on April 24, 1953, the daughter of Lincoln and Marjorie (Howard) Goll of Garner, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm alongside her three brothers, where she learned the value of hard work and developed her caring nature. She graduated from Garner High School and continued her education at North Iowa Area Community College.
Throughout her life, Deb held various jobs around the area, gaining many experiences and friendships along the way. Her most meaningful work, however, was as a paraprofessional at the Clear Lake School system. She took great pride in helping children learn and grow, always offering encouragement. Her dedication and patience left a lasting impression on those she had the chance of encountering.
In time, Deb met and married Kenneth “Ken” Frampton, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. She lovingly became a second mother to Brandon, and together she and Ken welcomed their son, David. The bond Deb and Ken shared was one of deep devotion; they were truly each other’s best friend and constant companion.
Those who knew Deb will remember her as strong-willed, independent, and kindhearted. She had a gentle soul and a quiet strength, doing things her own way yet always with love and intention. Deb enjoyed expressing herself through poetry, capturing her thoughts and emotions in writing. She also found great joy in cooking, especially when preparing large family meals that brought everyone together around the table.
Her family and friends will forever carry her spirit in their hearts, remembering her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.
Those left to cherish memories of Deb are her husband of 40 years, Ken Frampton; sons, Brandon Frampton of Oskalooska, IA; and David (Maria) Frampton of West Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, William, Cora, Francesca, and Luca; brother-in-laws, Kerry James (Nancy) Frampton, and Bill Astor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Deb is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, David, Ron and Jim Goll; sister-in-law, Kathy Astor; and nephew, Ethan Astor.
