
CLEAR LAKE – This Mason City woman was out tooling around in Clear Lake, casually toting her meth and fentanyl, when cops made a traffic stop and ended her drug enterprise.
On October 3, 2025, at about 1:11 AM, a deputy with the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stopped on 44-year-old Jamie Lynn Daniels of Mason City. The location of the stop was at Highway 122 and N. 40th Street in Clear Lake. After an investigation at the scene, Daniels was found to be in possession of approximately 5 ounces of methamphetamine, user amount of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
Daniels was charged with the following charges:
-124.401(1)(b)(7) – Intent Manufacture/Deliver Meth Over 5g Und 5kg a class B Felony
-453B.12 – Fail to Affix Drug Tax Stamp – 7 Or More Grams of Methamphetamine a class D felony
-124.401(5) – Possession Of A Controlled Substance, 1st Off a Serious Misdemeanor
-124.414 – Possess Drug Paraphernalia
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department was assisted by the Iowa Division Of Narcotics Enforcement. Daniels is being held in Cerro Gordo County Jail. The Case is still under investigation.
