The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present:
Chairman Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan, Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the public.
Chairman Watts convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve today’s agenda and the minutes for the March 10, 2025 special session, March 10, 2025 regular session, and the March 11, 2025 special session. Motion passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve the payroll register for period ending 03/08/2025. Motion passed unanimously.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve the following payroll change:

Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to certify the cost of the March 4, 2025 Central Springs School Special Election. Motion passed unanimously.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve the 8-month Special Class C Alcohol Licenses for Pine Creek Golf Club and for PM Park. Motion passed unanimously.
Assistant County Engineer Andy Swinton provided an update.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve the final RCB Culvert Plans (project FM-C017(124)—55-17) and authorize the Board to sign. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to adjourn at 10:04 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.

The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in special session pursuant to adjournment. Present:
Chairperson Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan, Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the public.
Chairman Watts called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.
Public comment session was held.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve today’s agenda. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to adopt Resolution 2025-24, Whereas the Central Springs Special Election was held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025; and, Whereas the official canvass of the results of the March 4, 2025 Central Springs Special Election by the Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on March 11, 2025; and, Whereas the Board has publicly and duly met and opened and canvassed the tally lists from the March 4, 2025 Central Springs Special Election; and, Whereas the Board has corrected any and all obvious clerical errors as recorded in the minutes of the canvass, And whereas, Pursuant to Iowa Code Section
50.22, the commissioner of elections reported that there were zero provisional ballot rejected and not counted.
Now, therefore, the Board of Supervisors hereby certifies and declares the final results of the election in the official
abstract of the election. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to adjourn at 10:06 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
March 17, 2025
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in special session pursuant to adjournment at 9:00 a.m. Present: Chairman Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan, Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to review drainage watchman services, review the proposed Courthouse front entrance policy, receive an update on opioid programs, and discuss right-of-way requests from Carbon Solutions.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:58 a.m.
