Cops raid rural Northern Iowa house again, nab same suspect loaded with drugs

MAYNARD, IOWA – A Northern Iowa suspect was arrested for the second time on drug charges after cops got another search warrant and raided a rural house.

On July 19, 2024, at approximately 11:30 PM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 115 Rich St. Maynard IA. During the execution methamphetamine, marijuana, and multiple firearms were found and seized. Joseph Glenn Kane, 25 of Maynard was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine, an aggravated misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense-Marijuana, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, serious misdemeanor. Kane was taken into custody transported to Fayette County Jail, where he later posted a $350 bond and released.

This is the second narcotics search warrant the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has executed on this residence in 6 weeks.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office/Canine Unit.
