CLEAR LAKE – Clear Lake City Administrator Scott Flory has been chosen as the Citizen of the Year by the local Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club of Clear Lake said in a statement Wednesday, “We’re excited to announce our 2022 Citizen of the Year recipient Scott Flory!”

City hall echoed the announcement Wednesday:

“Congratulations to Clear Lake’s City Administrator Scott Lawrence Flory on being chosen as the “William L. Nicholas” Citizen of the Year presented by the Rotary Club of Clear Lake Iowa. He will be honored at a luncheon on Thursday, November 17th. Under Scott’s administrative leadership, the City has been active in community and economic development projects that have created numerous employment opportunities and quality of life enhancements. Congratulations Scott!

The luncheon is planned for Thursday, November 17 at The Legacy Grill. Tickets are available for $15 each at the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
