CEDAR RAPIDS – Two are dead and at least were 10 injured in an Iowa nightclub shooting early Sunday morning.
Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a shooting at Taboo Nightclub and Lounge, 415 Third Street SE that occurred at 1:27a.m. on Sunday, April, 10, 2022.
Two individuals are confirmed dead and approximately ten more are injured and receiving medical attention at multiple local hospitals. Cedar Rapids Police were on routine downtown patrol when the shooting occurred and were able to respond immediately.
The scene is secure and there is no threat to public safety. Police are currently interviewing witnesses and Crime Scene Investigators are on-site.

As Mayor O’Donnell said “we as citizens refuse to play along”. And the club owner, Monteed Williams Jr., ‘we doing everything we can to cooperate with police.’ Why is it that the Government classifies people as a minority? In the end we are all homo sapiens with slight differences. So in all truth and honesty why is it a group the Government calls a minority is doing all these horrible things? A minority doing the majority of senseless shooting. Day in and day out all across America this is happening. To put it in perspective lets say we condense the population down to 100 people to reflect the demographics. So 77 would be white, 14 would be black, and the other 9 reflecting the rest. So you got a minority aka 14% doing the majority of shootings nation wide. Absolutely no respect for people playing a gangster. There no gangsters just idiots that need a gun to destroy others lives. There is a tremendous amount of men running around who are really still a boy. Never obtained enlightenment. Which is what that bar was full of. Dumb little boys playing with guns. That goes for the rest of you too. Your scared. But most importantly RIP.
