MASON CITY – NIACC freshman outfielder Hailey 
was selected as the ICCAC Division II softball player of the week for the week of April 5-11.
Worman, who prepped at Newman Catholic, was 13 for 22 (.590) in six games last week with three home runs and 12 RBIs.
Worman drove in her 12 runs in Saturday’s doubleheader split with Southwestern. She drove in six runs in both ends of the twinbill.
In the first game against Southwestern on Saturday (a 12-9 win), Worman was 4 for 4 with two home runs and six RBIs
In the second game against Southwestern on Saturday (a 20-12 loss), Worman was 3 for 4 with a double, home run and six RBIs.
