Northern Iowa man sent to prison for lascivious acts with child

PALO ALTO COUNTY, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man has been sent to prison for lascivious acts with child.

On March 11, 2021, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office transported 59-year-old Peter R. Montag of West Bend to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center at Oakdale, Iowa. Montag received an indeterminate term of incarceration in prison not to exceed ten years, after he pled guilty to Lascivious Acts with a Child, a class “C” Felony. The crimes took place in 2018. A charge of incest was dismissed.
