WATERLOO – Waterloo police have announced they have a suspect in the robbery of a convenience store.
On September 29th, 2020 at 9:23 AM, the Waterloo Police Department responded to an armed robbery at 1117 E. 4th Street, in Waterloo – Ali’s Corner Convenience Store. The investigation into this matter, including a tip submitted to Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers, resulted in the suspect being identified as Diontay Cobbs age 25 with a last known address in Davenport, Iowa. Waterloo Police have obtained a warrant for 1st Degree Robbery for Cobbs and are asking the public’s help in locating him.
He was last seen in a 2018 Ford Fusion with Iowa License Plate GMG093.
