FORT DODGE – A man was badly hurt in a bicycle accident in Fort Dodge.
The Iowa State Patrol says 63-year-old Ricky Cullun was riding a bicycle on a sidewalk northbound along Kenyon Road when 34-year Joseph Johnson approached in a Chevy Caprice. Johnson was within the intersection at Avenue C and turning right when Cullum’s bicycle collided into the side of the Caprice. As a result, Cullum was injured. He was flown to Des Moines with life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
