The opening line in the recent Opinion piece I wrote for this publication stated; “Trump has emboldened those with marginalized mental capacities.” Almost immediately after it appeared I was verbally assaulted by the very people I referred to…mental cripples who firmly believe that mean words with innuendos of physical violence could be around the corner. They behave like a schoolyard bully who wants to change the rules in the middle of the game in a manner that could make them the winner. And when others protest, they raise their voice and stamp their foot soundly on the ground.
So should I refrain from putting ink on paper, should I stop appearing in public places. My name is inscribed below what I write whereas those of the ilk I refer to hide behind Anonymous names believing their words will carry the credence they so desperately seek. I don’t think so…
When you read what I write you are being drenched in the truth and that’s the last thing this Tea Party group wants to hear. After studying this boondoggle I have come to the most logical conclusion. America and change the face of basketball with all white leagues…ban olive oil and garlic. The Highway Patrol with stop you and check your breath for garlic. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer: We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. We tried statesmanship. The results were always the same. This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.
