For training on domestic violence and spousal abuse, Sgt. Creekmur is the right pick for the job. In order to be in a relationship with her, she requires that you know how to take a punch!

Congrats! She is a good cop and has done a good job serving our community. Smart, level headed and fair. Don’t care about any of the rumors, she is a good cop!

How ironic. I wonder if she will include instructions on domestic violence and abuse. She certainly excelled in beating the snot out of her ex-girlfriend Helen on multiple occasions before she became a cop. Maybe that’s what they look for, someone with “great morals and hands on experience.”

She never had a girlfriend by the name Helen.

True. The ex was Henrietta Rotencrotch.

May as well be naming the Chief Janitor at the Governor’s Mansion.

Or the Senior Phone Answerer at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.

Or whether or not Sgt. Creekmur prefers heavy metal rock over Beethoven.

Since when has becoming an APPOINTED Board or Council member at THIS level become newsworthyl?

Sure. It’s a “feather in her cap”. BUT:
People within her personal/professional circle might laud this political appointment…BUT… why would the general public care?

WHY HER? Did Governor Reynolds have OTHER choices to select from? Is she replacing another Board member? If so, Who? Why?

What does this Council actually DO? What authority do they have? Who are the other members?

Most news readers prefer the ENTIRE story….Not just a vague News Release. This story (and many others) proves that N.I.T. NEEDS an actual EXPERIENCED News Reporter on its staff. OR an Editor that “digs” to close blatant loopholes in stories. Said person could also double as a COLUMNIST….Which would put N.I.T. in sync with other news publications.

Don’t like it, don’t read it. Don’t like this site, don’t come on here. No one is twisting your arm. But, STFU!

Yawn…
