Hampton police: Don’t forget Ethan is still missing

HAMPTON, IOWA – It has been four years since a Hampton man went missing, and police reminded the public to help assist in locating him.

Today, September 15, 2017 it has been four years that local Hampton man, Ethan Kazmerzak went missing, Hampton Chief of Police Robert Schaefer said.

“Local law enforcement authorities have followed up on a few leads with no results,” Schaefer said in a bulletin to news outlets. “The reward previously offered was increased (some time ago) to $100,000 and offered for any relevant and useful information that leads to the current location and/or safe return of Ethan Kazmerzak. The reward has been pooled together by a group of anonymous donors. Kazmerzak is a resident of Hampton, Iowa, who at the time he went missing was 22 years old. He went missing sometime in the early morning hours on Sept. 15, 2013.”

Ethan has dark blond hair, has had a beard, wears glasses, and has a Grateful Dead tattoo on his upper left arm. He was last seen wearing peach/orange colored shorts and a white/teal printed shirt. He was driving a silver 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI with Iowa license plate AUZ382.   1. Wasn’t there a guy found somewhere north of forest city area found after years of missing? Seems like his pickup went into a ravine and couldn’t be seen from the road.

    This young man is lost and God knows what has happened to him.
    Prayers for him and his family.
    If this were to happen to one of your loved ones, this would devistated you.

  3. Does the missing guy have a really short lower half of his body, like extraordinary that it’s disproportionate to his upper half?
