MASON CITY – The victim in last night’s shooting, an adult female, was flown to University of Iowa Hospitals for emergency treatment.
Police say her condition is not available this morning.
At this time, police say they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community in the wake of this violent incident.
“We would encourage anyone with information about this incident to contact and work with MCPD to keep our community safe and to hold the person(s) responsible accountable for their actions.”
