MASON CITY – Police found a man laying in the road and they took him to jail.
Mason City police officers responded at 2:16 AM Friday morning to a North End neighborhood for a subject laying in the roadway. Upon arrival at the 200 block of 13th Street NE, police found 24-year-old Wade Landon Hagner of Mason City in the street.
Hagner was arrested for public intoxication. He was jailed, processed and later released pending a court date.
He must have been really drunk to pass out in the road. e was lucky he wasn’t hit by a car. It is hard to see someone or something in the road at night.
