URBANDALE – An Amber Alert for a missing Iowa child was issued early Wednesday morning, and then abruptly cancelled after a grisly discovery.
Iowa authorities canceled the Amber Alert out of Urbandale, Iowa, for missing 9-month-old Logan Habibovic. Authorities had been searching for 33-year-old Elvis Habibovic, who allegedly abducted the boy and drove away in a 2003 Black Land Rover Discovery.
Law enforcement in Iowa and Missouri are now saying that the suspect vehicle was found, burned out, in Harrison county, just south of the Iowa-Missouri state line.
Two persons were found inside the vehicle, and authorities believe both are the victim and his abductor. Positive identifications are being worked on at this time.
How heartbreaking. What a beautiful little boy. How could someone hurt this child? My heart breaks for the child and his mother.
No father who truly loved his child would EVER inflict pain on them, especially deliberately! This heinous act was done totally for revenge upon the mother. God welcomed a new little angel into heaven, by the name of Logan. The father will answer before God for his actions & pay a heavy price. May God comfort the mother & the rest of the family during this time of immeasurable grief & bring the happy memories that they shared with Logan to mind often to comfort them. God Bless!
So it looks like this father kidnapped his own child and then killed himself and his child in a horrible, painful way. If that is the case here than I hope this s.o.b is still burning someplace. Absolutely sickening.
