Des Moines police seek clues in Family Dollar store robbery

11154857_872926926087557_6710324795883749445_oDES MOINES – Des Moines Police Detectives are seeking help identifying suspects from a robbery committed Tuesday April 21st.

On Tuesday at 9:47 pm two suspects entered the Family Dollar at 3915 SW 9th while a third acted as a look-out. One suspect was armed with a long gun while the other had a stick. As one suspect pointed his gun at the victims, the other demanded cash. All suspects fled after receiving money.

The suspect armed with a gun is described as a black male approximately 6-0 with a thin build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt dark pants and mask. The second suspect wore a blue or purple hooded sweatshirt with dark pants and a mask. He was described as a black male approximately 5’-7” also with a thin build. The third suspect appeared to have a blue or purple sweatshirt as well as dark pants.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of these suspects is asked to call the Des Moines Police Detective Bureau at 515-283-4869 or the Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400.
