MASON CITY – A Mason City woman caught in January driving around town with meth in a car with un-matched license plates was arrested again late Friday.
Hanna Michelle Page, age 24, was stopped by a Cerro Gordo deputy before midnight Friday, March 6 at 9th Street SW and Eisenhower Avenue. The deputy determined Page was driving with a suspended driver’s license. She was arrested and her vehicle impounded.
Page was booked into the county jail and soon released after posting bond.
Page was arrested on January 3, 2015 afters she was stopped at 2:18 AM that morning by a Cerro Gordo deputy near Monroe Avenue and 3rd Street SW for having license plates that did not match the vehicle she was driving. The deputy soon discovered that Page was wanted in Polk county for a probation violation. Upon further investigation, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered. She was charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia, as well as traffic violations. She entered a guilty plea on February 26, 2015 to second offense drug possession. She was sentenced to 365 days in jail, with 309 days suspended, and 2 years of probation. She awaits a June trial on the possession of drug paraphernalia charge and has pleaded not guilty.
Look at her! The anhydrous is coming out of her face. Look at it! If you were to touch those soars you would be contaminated. Her teeth will fall out, her hair will fall out and her skin will wilt. She is the poster child of a meth head! She needs drug treatment now! They let her go without getting treatment, and she continues to meth out, she will be dead with in two years!
Im so tired of the courts letting these meth heads back on the streets. Send them all away. I don’t care if the prisons are full. Find somewhere to put them, other than back on the streets.
But yet they let her out on bond. Odds are she will not show up for trial. This one just doesn’t care.
