MINNEAPOLIS – A police officer spied three subjects with a shotgun and after subduing them, discovered one of the persons intended to shoot a person.
According to Minneapolis police, while on routine patrol on February 13th, officers from MPD Third Precinct observed three males standing around the open trunk of a car. As they went by, they observed an adult male remove a 12 gauge shotgun. The gun was uncased.
Officers immediately pulled over and ordered the three persons to the ground. All three eventually complied.
Investigation revealed one male admitting he intended to shoot one of the other people on site as officers arrived. The gun was found to be stolen out of Texas.
That male party was arrested and booked into jail for 2nd Degree Assault and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
