Osage man arrested after disturbance in Mason City

MASON CITY – An Osage man was taken to jail Sunday after police investigated an alleged assault.

Police were called to the 600 block of 12th Street NE on Sunday at about 12:15 PM when a caller reported a disturbance that may have involved an assault. When police arrived, an investigation was undertaken and an Osage man, 29-year-old Clinton James Jane was arrested. Lane was charged with possession of a controlled substance and theft in the fifth degree.

Lane was held on bond Sunday.

Lane has been accused of several crimes in the Mason City area, including aggravated domestic abuse assault, to which he pleaded guilty in 2013 after her was charged by the MCPD. He still owes the entire $256.88 he was ordered to pay Iowa courts in that case. He was also charged with felony robbery by the MCPD in 2007 but took a plea deal to accessory to a felony. He still owes most of the $1,109.25 he was ordered to pay in that case, and is in debt collection.

LVS RE:”fine’s” Master the apostrophe.

@Grizz-Up yours. Who the hell appointed you to tell us how to post. This is not high school and we don’t care.

Did he disturb the morning political meeting at Kum and Go ?

He might live in Osage now but her was raised here in Mason City. He has been in trouble with the law all his life.

This guy doesn’t care if he is in debt collection. He has no intention of ever paying his fine’s.
