Autumn Mae Steele, 34, died while being treated for an apparent gunshot she received when officers of the Burlington Police Department responded to a domestic call in the 100 block of South Garfield Ave. An autopsy will take place on Thursday, January 8, 201,5 at the University of Iowa Decedent Care Unit. Domestic dispute and get killed for it ? Must have missed the part where she assaulted the cop ?

My best friend, Brett Sunner of the Cedar Rapids police department was shot and killed responding to a domestic dispute in 1984. Don’t be so quick to judge. The report said he was attacked by the dog there and that complicates things.

Cops have to react to what they see. All my friend did was peek around the garage to see what was going on and he was murdered.

You can’t blame the cops every time.
