NIACC volleyball team falls to Waldorf JV, 3-2

MASON CITY – The NIACC volleyball team dropped a 3-2 decision to the Waldorf College junior varsity on “Think Pink” night Thursday in the NIACC gym.

The Waldorf JV won 20-25, 29-27, 12-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Sophomore Caitlyn Hanig led the Lady Trojans (11-20 overall) with 10 kills, 11 digs and four blocks. Sophomore Brianna Haugen and freshman Kendall Moorehead both had eight kills.
Also for NIACC, Karlie Niedert had six kills, Heather Danburg and Carly Ouverson both had 18 assists, Amber Carter had 15 digs, Madison Wood had 6 blocks and Zoe Schneider had five ace serves.

NIACC wraps up the regular season next Thursday at Ellsworth.
