MASON CITY – The NIACC volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the the Wartburg College junior varsity on Friday in the NIACC gym.
The Knights won 25-23, 25-22, 25-15.
Sophomore Caitlyn Hanig led the Lady Trojans with eight kills and six digs. Also for the Lady Trojans, Abbey Knowlton had four kills and Karlie Niedert had three kills.
Carly Ouverson led the Lady Trojans with 10 assists. Knowlton had seven blocks, Niedert had three blocks, Amber Carter had 21 digs and Zoe Schneider had 20 digs.
NIACC (10-15 overall) returns to action Wednesday at home against top-ranked Kirkwood.
