MASON CITY – A Mason City man is in jail awaiting a court date after police charged him with four serious crimes on Monday following an incident over the weekend.
Following an incident on Saturday, June 28th, Mason City police have charged 24-year-old Jesse Mugan with felony domestic assault involving strangulation, felony second offense domestic assault, felony false imprisonment and simple misdemeanor obstruction of emergency communications.
Mugan is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $8,000 (10%). He is awaiting a hearing on July 11.
