SWALEDALE – A Clear Lake man was stopped for drunk driving on June 14th.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Cerro Gordo county deputies on the morning of June 14th with a traffic stop at the 3000 block of Jonquil Avenue near Swaledale.
Police arrested David Wayne Foote, age 54, on a charge of operating under the influence, 2nd offense. He awaits a July 3, 2014 hearing.
Foote pled guilty to 2nd offense operating while intoxicated in 2007. He was also stopped by the Iowa State Patrol in Cerro Gordo county in that case. He was found guilty of operating while intoxicated, 1st offense, in 2000 after a stop by the Iowa State Patrol.
