MASON CITY – 12th Street NW between North Federal Avenue and North Washington Avenue will remain closed for approximately two more weeks due to unforeseen delays with the storm sewer improvements project that is currently in progress. On Monday, the first section of pavement is expected to be placed with subsequent pours throughout the week.

Motorists should follow the detour or seek an alternate route. The detour will utilize U.S. 65, IA 122, and Pierce Avenue. Motorists should allow additional travel time if their normal route includes 12th Street NW directly west of Federal Avenue.

  1. Drupal is one of these effective software packages that helps people
and businesses publish content on their websites.

Good providers instead hire highly trained specialists from their own country to ensure you receive the specialized care you deserve.
These connections and resource sharing can even be made
across different operating systems such as Unix, Linux
    and Microsoft Windows.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to
get that “perfect balance” between superb usability
and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a excellent job
with this. In addition, the blog loads very fast for me
    on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!

  8. This doesn’t surprise me at all. We drive by there a lot and most of the time there was no one working. If they don’t stop those semi’s and heavy trucks from using 14th N.W. as a detour they are going to have to repave that street too. There is a 10,000 lb. limit on these residential streets.. They were not designed for this kind of abuse. It would also be real nice if they would run a street sweeper up here some time this spring. They have not been here since last September. We pay taxes…

    1. I live just a few blocks from the construction and I don’t see a lot of work going on, matter of fact I try not to go that way right now but the times I have, I haven’t seen anybody there.
