NIT – Police in Florida are investigating an incident in Miami where a woman woke up in a hospital bed with no recollection of how she got there after partying with three NFL players.

No charges have been filed, and the woman alleged no foul play against Kaepernick, but says she was in his bed, naked, when two NFL players peeked in the room and asked where Kaepernick was. The woman claims that was the last thing she remembered before waking up in a hospital bed. The woman says she has been with Kaepernick before. Kaepernick is in Miami for training purposes.

Also named as “persons of interest” are Seattle wide receiver Ricardo Lockette and San Francisco wide receiver Quinton Patton.

On Friday via Twitter, Kaepernick said “The charges made in the TMZ story and other stories I’ve seen are completely wrong. They make things up about me that never happened. I take great pride in who I am and what I do, but I guess sometimes you have to deal with someone who makes things up. I want to thank all of the people who have shared their encouraging sentiments. I assure you that your faith is not misplaced.”

Police continue to investigate. The investigation was first reported by TMZ.
