MASON CITY – The Iowa Central wrestling team stopped No. 7 NIACC 24-18 in dual meet Friday night in the NIACC gym.
NIACC picked up wins from Blake Spotts (141), Nosomy Pozo (149), Yoanse Mejias (157), Thomas Daniels (174) and Andy Glaser (184).
Spotts (Nora Springs, Ia.) picked up his fifth fall of the season with a pin of Iowa Central’s Teddy Harvey at the 6:34 mark. Spotts, who qualified for the national tournament a year ago, is 12-7.
NIACC returns to action Thursday in a dual meet at Iowa Lakes.
