AMES – A 77-70 win against No. 7 Michigan Sunday has vaulted the Iowa State men’s basketball team into the Associated Press top-25 for the first time since late in the 2011-12 season. The Cyclones enter the poll at No. 21.
Iowa State’s No. 21 ranking is the highest for the program since the 2000-01 season.
Iowa State returns to action Wednesday night when it travels to Provo, Utah to face BYU in another early season test. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. (CT) on ESPNU.
