MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors met for its regular weekly meeting Tuesday.

The board heard a road report from County Engineer Mary Kelly.  She told the board that the B-20 resurfacing project is complete and the road is now fully open.

In other business, the board approved a land deal with Star Auto Body to sell a small piece of land (half lot) adjacent to the business at a price of $15,000.  The land is just north of the Star Auto Body building, located at Third Street and North Washington Avenue.  Attorney Jackie Aurthur represented Star Auto Body Owner Ron Bartusek.

“Gives him more room for snow storage and growth potential,” Mrs. Aurthur stated to the board.  “I do not believe Ron has any immediate plans to expand his building.”
